Lauren is passionate about helping clients navigate some of life’s most challenging transitions with compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail. Her strong research, drafting, and case management skills contribute to the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Outside of the office, Lauren is also a yoga teacher and life coach. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in guidance counseling.
Lauren Pyjar is a paralegal with Stark & D'Ambrosio, LLP, where she supports the firm's family law team. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Georgetown University, earned in 2021, and joined the firm immediately upon graduation. Over the past three years, Lauren has gained valuable experience working with both the civil and family law divisions of the firm.
Stephanie Gombas is a paralegal supporting the Civil Litigation team at the firm. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science with a minor in Law and Society from Purdue University in 2021. Before transitioning to the legal field, Stephanie worked in neuroscience and psychological research at Washington University in St. Louis. In 2025, she relocated to San Diego and completed a graduate certificate in Paralegal Studies at the University of San Diego
Stephanie takes pride in her attention to detail and is passionate about conducting legal research. She is committed to maintaining positive and professional relationships with clients, counsel, and the court.
Outside the office, Stephanie enjoys exploring local restaurants, knitting, traveling, and following show jumping.
Additionally, her internship at the District Attorney’s Office during her undergraduate studies provided her with a deeper understanding of the legal system and reinforced her passion for the field.
Sophia graduated magna cum laude from Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, VA with a major in Criminal Justice. Sophia values the opportunity to support the Stark & D’Ambrosio team and clients, and she is committed to contributing to the smooth operation of the firm.
She appreciates the collaborative environment of the legal profession and is eager to learn and grow within the team, always striving to provide the best service possible.
In her free time, Sophia enjoys painting and drawing, which allows her to express her creativity and unwind after a busy day. She finds joy in the artistic process and often draws inspiration from her surroundings.
Sophia Labella serves as the firm’s administrative assistant, bringing valuable experience from her time at Mary Baldwin University’s Registrar’s Office.
There, she honed her organizational and communication skills while managing various administrative tasks.
