George A. Rios III is an Associate Attorney with the firm in its San Diego office. George is a passionate and empathetic attorney at law, representing clients in business transactions, general civil litigation, and criminal defense. His thorough and efficient approach provides clients with exceptional work product and the best opportunity to prevail in the challenging and ever-changing legal landscape.
George is a graduate of San Diego State University (“SDSU”), where he secured his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a minor in Economics. This allows George to better understand the practical needs of his business clients.
After attending SDSU and a short stint as a substitute teacher, George obtained his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. During law school, George worked with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Hard Core Gang Unit. He also played an active role in Loyola’s Juvenile Rights Project (“JRP”), where he spoke to high school students in some of Los Angeles’ most high-crime neighborhoods about their Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment Rights. The goal of JRP was to keep students in school where they belonged and out of jail.
George is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association and California Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in all Superior Courts for the State of California. He enjoys watching and playing baseball, the beach, bike riding, and dueling piano bars. He is currently refining his Spanish speaking skills.
